Miss Morbid and the Documentary

Hey reader,

I've always wanted to create a documentary and now I finally have the chance. My U.S. History teacher decided to have us put together a documentary on just about anything we want as long as it relates to history for an assignment.

Now that I have my video camera and will be getting a video editing system for Christmas, I'm almost set. I even have the story I'm going to do and some of the research due to Ancestry.com.

My mom told me that my great great grandpa Jefferson Davis Martin (named aptly after the president of the Confederacy) had a farm in Oklahoma where he would hide out criminals like Pretty Boy Floyd and it's even said Bonnie and Clyde stayed a bit on the farm. I'm going to get a lot of the story from my great uncle Dan who loves researching this family stuff but if anyone knows where I can find old arrest records from the 1920s or 30s online (Grandpa Martin was imprisoned for two years for hiding out Pretty Boy Floyd) that would be great. I'm trying to collect as many sources as I can.

God, who would have thought my great great grandpa could have housed Bonnie and Clyde? Haha and it's also a rumor in the family that his twin, Jemimiah Martin, killed her husband. I love family. Haha!

Miss Morbid and the Memory of Vladimir

Hey reader,

I haven't posted anything in a month. Ugh. Sorry. Even though no one really reads this blog anyway.

BUT

I've been so busy with school and emotions and all that stuff... I got an A in my first college class (and I'm 16!) and finals are starting tomorrow. I can't wait to be done with physics. But then I have chemistry and pre-calculus... ugh...

Also, I must share some very sad news with you, reader. My kitten, Vladimir, who was only four months old, died of diabetes on Wednesday. He was such a good kitten for a stray. He was the first cat who really stole my heart. He was like a dog but only weighing four pounds and with a cute gray cat-face and body. He was silly and just amazing. My mom, sister, and I are missing him dearly. It's hard to loose someone you've bottle-fed formula when they were only four weeks old.

We had such a hard time these last few days without little Vlady. Missing the pitter-patter of little kitten feet, my mom promised that we would go to a shelter to get two new cats. I didn't want two new cats. I wanted Vladimir. But just yesterday we got Demitri and Damien and... they're kind of growing on my but it will take a while until I can stop comparing them to Vladimir.

It makes me feel so bad by comparing them to him but I know they're not him and they deserve really good homes but... it will take a while for me to bond with Demitri and Damien like I did with Vlad but I'll try.
